Anchorage Healing Explosion facilitates authentic encounters with Jesus that bring hope, healing, and freedom so people may receive help from the Lord in their time of need.
The Vision
The Anchorage Healing Explosion goal is to provide a setting for believers from numerous groups, churches to demonstrate Jesus is very alive working through his people by laying their hands on the sick watching them recover health, releasing the traumatized from mental, physical abuses, open blind eyes, restore ears to a hearing state, even drive out demons, and commanding diseases to leave people. These are some of the works of the Spirit of Jesus we encourage believers to walk daily in.
All our efforts for this city's people are to advance the government of Jesus Christ in Anchorage even Alaska for the Lord's glory. Our motto is "Nothing is impossible with God".
The Visionary
Anchorage Healing Explosion originated from the heart of Apostle Dick Strutz and is a heaven sent vision he's carried in his heart for over 50 years. A lifelong Alaskan, Dick was born in Anchorage in 1929 and received Christ into his life in 1953. Since then, the Strutz family experienced God in marvelous ways including healings and miraculous provisions. In 1972 he founded Charismatic Bible College of Anchorage and later, founded Anchorage City Church. Additionally, Dick's involvement with myriad church plants spans far and wide including all around Alaska and internationally.
